ROYAL APPEARANCE AT CHIO AACHEN 2023: INGRID KLIMKE AND PRINCESS ANNE INSPIRE IN ANNA KLOSE DESIGN

Aachen, Juni 2023: The Opening Ceremony of the CHIO Aachen 2023 was a truly royal moment. Ingrid Klimke honored Princess Anne with the silver horse of the German Riding and Driving Association – and wore one of our Velvet Blazers in "Hamptons Blue" from the ANNA KLOSE Blazer Collection.

It was pure excitement for me when the German Olympic rider Ingrid Klimke paraded through the Aachen Soers to the applause of 40,000 spectators alongside the sister of King Charles III and the Minister President of North Rhine-Westphalia, Hendrik Wüst.

Our designs were the tournament's big winners

In fact, I had even more reason to celebrate during the tournament. Alongside Jessica von Bredow Werndl and Marcus Ehning, I also felt a bit like a winner.

After all, many of my designs were the absolute eye-catchers at the big events of the week. Whether at the opening ceremony or media night, at the championship dinner of the German equestrian team or at the reception of the CHIO Aachen Campus – my blazers, bags and accessories were everywhere!
